Picnic!!!

Hi Everyone,

Be sure to check out Courtney and Carrie's Deshler Consultation tomorrow from 5-7 (see below) and plan for Sunday's Picnic @ the PARk. We'll be bringing plenty of grillables, drinks and sides but feel free to bring your famous dish, favorite beer, or the generic bag-o-snacks. TO THE PARk!!!

Deshler Consultation April 27th!

Make sure to check out Courtney and Carrie this Friday at the Tompkins County Workers' Center. They'll be giving the final Deshler Consulation of the year! Oh and make sure to come to our picnic on April 29th at Stewart Park.

Welcome

The Cornell Participatory Action Research Network (cPARN) was founded in 1992 and continues to foster robust discussion on action research at Cornell and beyond. A brief history of the network can be found here.

Please sign up for our listserve to participate in the ongoing dialogue.

The goals of the network are to :

- Provide a convenient and supportive way for students from many academic disciplines to locate PAR resources (classes, faculty, students) and pursue action research;

- Establish support for students wishing to incorporate PAR into their existing/planned research by providing a student forum to discuss and evaluate research and a network of committed faculty members to advise on PAR techniques and execution;

- Support an alternative and underrepresented research methodology;

- Create an archive/collective history of PAR at Cornell;

- Foster a supportive and challenging network of faculty and students who are committed to PAR.
